The Amazonat Jungle Lodge construction style is typical of the region, with wood and no glass doors or windows; instead screens are used, in order to enhance contact with nature. Amazonat also has its own mineral water source, which is available right from the faucet as pure drinking water. Amazonat offers a Camp Site (Jane´s Place) in the jungle where visitors can stay overnight enjoying a basic jungle experience. The lodge itself offers many amenities:
- Restaurant
- Library
- Handicraft store
- Swimming pool
- Lake
- Orchid Trail
- Fitness Facilities
- Massage
The guided activities that Amazonat Jungle Lodge offers include:
- Bird watching, this activity can be done everywhere, but it is especially pleasant at the Orchid Trail and from the chalet verandas.
- Daily Walks, every morning after breakfast, guests have the opportunity to choose between the three main jungle trails in the company of experienced guides.
- Indian Village, a primitive Indian style settlement has been constructed about 7 kilometers (4 miles) where guests can spend more time under pure jungle conditions. This is perhaps the ultimate challenge of the trip!
- Jane’s Place, the small Indian house located about 3 kilometers (2 miles) into the jungle. In this place visitors can enjoy a leisurely lunch or spend the night sleeping in a hammock. It is a rare thrill to listen to the mysterious sounds of the jungle at night.
- Urubu River Trip, is located 15 minutes away from the Amazonat Lodge by our air-conditioned vehicle, this river is one of the Amazon River tributaries and is surrounded by pristine forest. Due to the relatively acidic of the water there are practically no mosquitoes in this area.
- Amazon River Trip, highlight for every visitor to the Amazonat lodge. This is an opportunity to meet the encounter of two waters on the Amazon River, an intensely beautiful experience.
- Island Survival Trip, in the very photogenic Urubu River, Amazonat Lodge owns a small island of 50 hectares, which is located in an Indigenous Reserve.
- Itacoatiara, a community of about 230,000 inhabitants. This community is located 100 kilometers) (60 miles) away of the Amazonat jungle Lodge and offers another opportunity to meet the locals.
- Fishing trip & Pink Dolphin sighting.
