Pousada Farol das Tartarugas has an excellent swimming pool, with separate areas for adults and kids, and a relaxing whirlpool area within the pool.  - Turtle Watching

No other beach in Brazil will offer such a variety of sea turtles as Praia do Forte. These turtles come to the beach every year between the months of September through March to deposit their eggs in the beach sand. The TAMAR Project is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to care and preserve these incredible turtles. Brazilian coasts serve as egg-laying habitat for 6 of the 7 marine turtles species in the world.

 - The Beach

12 kilometers of white sand and crystalline water paradise. The beach is known for its coral reefs which offer great snorkeling.

 - The Village

A pleasant and warm fishing village preserved in its charming rustic structure. Praia do Forte offers many restaurants, artisan and handcraft shops and many other services. The little Saint Francis church on the beach is a nationally preserved historical icon.

 - The Natural Swimming Pools

At low tide the coral reef is exposed to show its variety of fish and sea animals. It is a perfect choice for snorkeling.

 - The Sand Dunes

5 Kilometers from of the fishing village a chain of sand dunes offers a great area for nature exploration and is an excellent location for walking and enjoying the different natural lakes formed at low tide.
