The Salvador - 2 nights includes:   Accommodation: 2 nights in Salvador at the Hotel Catharina Paraguacu. This charming old Colonial home is located in the central Bohemian district of Rio Vermelho. It is walking distance from the beach and from many good bars and restaurants.   Tours: ·       Full Day Salvador City Tour featuring Pelourinho, a typical Bahian lunch, Mercado Modelo, and other historical sites ·       Folkloric Dinner Show in a UNESCO World Heritage seafront Fort. ·       Complementary stress release massage

Praia do Forte - 3 nights includes:   Accommodation: 3 nights in Praia do Forte at the Pousada Farol das Tartarugas. This new pousada is located 20 meters from the beach and next to the TAMAR Turtle Project Visitor Center.   Tours: ·       4-Wheeler tour through Atlantic Forest with a river stop (1 adult per quad) ·       Canoe trip down the pristine Imbassai River ·       Typical Bahian lunch at Diogo - a fisherman village ·       Choice of 3 tours: Horseback riding, Sauipe River Catamaran or Sauipe Adventure Expedition

 

 

Chapada Diamantina – 4 nights includes:   Accommodation: 4 nights at the Hotel Canto das Aguas in Lencois. Situated beside a river at the entrance to the village, this beautiful hotel successfully integrates the surrounding nature with its own architectural style. The food here is delicious and the atmosphere charming and friendly.             Tours: ·         Serrano River, Colored Sands Chambers and the Spring Waterfall ·         Torrinha Cave, Mucugezinho River, Poço do Diabo (Devil’s Hole) and Pai Inácio Mountain ·         Sossego Waterfall ·         Capao Valley, Cachoeira da Fumaça (Smoke Waterfall) and Riachinho (little River)

Transportation: Transfers and tours in private vehicles with private English speaking guides. Due to nature of some tours the vehicles might not be air-conditioned.

Adventure Rating: easy to moderate. The nature tours have a moderate adventure rating, requiring some paddling and 4-Wheeler driving. Treks to some of the waterfall require a reasonable level of fitness and agility. Not advised for children under the age of 10 yrs. Tropical weather and direct sunlight demands sun protection and plenty of fluids.
