The city of Salvador, and the fisherman villages of Praia do Forte and Itacare are three destinations that will give you a glimpse of the riches which the state of Bahia has to offer. Bahia is the main Tourism destination in Brazil and is known for its rich history, culture and unexplored nature. This package includes comfortable lodging in pousadas and hotels, and cultural and nature tours with a private English speaking guide.

The Salvador - 2 nights includes:
Accommodation:
2 nights in Salvador at the Hotel Catharina Paraguacu. This charming old Colonial home is located in the central Bohemian district of Rio Vermelho. It is walking distance from the beach and from many good bars and restaurants.
Tours:
· Full Day Salvador City Tour featuring Pelourinho, a typical Bahian lunch, Mercado Modelo, and other historical sites
· Folkloric Dinner Show in a UNESCO World Heritage seafront Fort.

Praia do Forte - 3 nights includes:
Accommodation:
3 nights in Praia do Forte at the Pousada Farol das Tartarugas. This new pousada is located 20 meters from the beach and next to the TAMAR Project Visitor Center.
Tours:
· 4-Wheeler tour through Atlantic Forest with a river stop (1 adult per quad)
· Canoe trip down the pristine Imbassai River
· Typical Bahian lunch at Diogo - a fisherman village
· Choice of 3 tours: Horseback riding, Sauipe River Catamaran or Sauipe Adventure Expedition |

Itacaré – 3 nights includes:
Accommodation:
3 nights at the Itacaré Eco Resort. Situated on a white sand beach, lined with palm trees and flanked by rainforest covered cliffs, this exotic resort promises to awaken all your senses.
Tours:
· Choice of 2 of the 3 tours listed below:
1. Prainha Tour – full day tour to Prainha Beach.
2. Usina and Jeribucacu Tour – full day tour to Usina and Jeribucacu Beaches.
3. Rafting and Rappel Tour – full day tour. (minimum age: 5 years old) |
Transportation: transfers and tours in private air-conditioned vehicles with your private English speaking guide. Due to nature of some tours the vehicles might not be air-conditioned.
Adventure Rating: easy to moderate. The nature tours have a moderate adventure rating, requiring some paddling and 4-Wheeler driving. The rafting and rappel tour, if selected, requires some level of skill. All ages are welcome. Tropical weather and direct sunlight demands sun protection and plenty of fluids.
Group size: any group size.
