With this package you will visit 2 of the most popular destinations in Brazil, Salvador and Morro de Sao Paulo, and enjoy the best Brazilian Carnaval. Salvador is known for its rich history, culture, and unexplored nature. This truly African Brazilian city will awaken your senses with its exquisite culinary flavors and the rhythm of its electrifying music. The Salvador Carnaval is the largest Brazilian street party, a huge celebration of life that one cannot miss. Morro de Sao Paulo is all that one would imagine of a tropical paradise. Located in the island of Tinhare, a 15-minute flight from Salvador’s airport, Morro has some of the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. The town is dominated by a lighthouse and the ruins of a colonial fort, from which sunsets can be seen as well as dolphins jumping through the waves. Traditionally a peaceful fishing village, Morro de Sao Paulo is literally “on fire” during the following days after Carnaval, known among locals as Ressaca (hangover time). During this period, that goes from February 25th through 29th, the small village gets packed of tourists and Baianos alike looking for a few extra days of fun as well as relaxation. Salvador and Morro de Sao Paulo are definitely the best places to be this Carnaval!
