The Christmas and New Year I spent with
my family in Brazil was wonderful. The trips you organised for were
great. I never expected to see so much wildlife in the Amazon - hundreds
of birds, cayman, pink dolphins, sloths, monkeys including the red
face monkey and even a rare leopard. It was truly exciting! Before
visiting the Amazon our trip to Lencois for five days around the New
Year was a really rewarding experience. The beautiful scenery and
great treks along to waterfalls and stunning vistas were breathtaking.
The hotel there - Cantos
das Aguas I would thoroughly recommend. Everyone was very friendly
during our stay in Brazil and our trip was very well organised by
you and your colleagues at Discover Brazil. It was a holiday I would
love to do again and have no hesitation to recommend Discover Brazil
to any one wishing to visit Brazil.

This year (July 2003) my wife and I had the fortunate
experience of using 'DiscoverBrazil' services. We were highly impressed
with the choices of accommodations offered and the great settings

Salvador & Praia do Forte (Bahia)

Just to say that the arrangements for our trip to Salvador and Praia
do Forte went very well.
The hotel
Catarina Paragassu was as wonderful as we remember from 8 years
ago. The building is beautiful, the welcome was warm and the breakfasts
are superb.
Transfers were good - the driver complemented us on our Portuguese
by assuming that we must be from Portugal because we spoke except
we must be from Porto because he couldn’t follow our accent!!
We enjoyed the trip to Praia do Forte, and agree that the beach up
away from the town is truly spectacular - empty, clean and pounded
by waves.
We fell in love with a small restaurant in P do F - Bar Leo also known
as Katya's bar. It is just outside the main complex of bars and restaurants,
No hard sell pleasant atmosphere fresh grilled freshly caught lobster
or peixe vermelho WOW

“The holiday was PERFECT!!! Thanks to you.
The pousada was certainly not luxurious but it was close to one of
the nicest beaches, and to the village. The owner, Mr. Dorivalo and
his family are very kind and friendly. The pousada was clean and located
in a very silent place with a nice view of the sea and of the Morro
do Pico.
The tours we did were very good, we had a guide most of the times
for the four of us, he was very punctual and kind, they picked us
up at the airport when we arrived as agreed and everything was as
planned.
The only problem we had was the 10th when we had to come back!!!
